Linz 1877 – 1964 Vienna

After her studies at the Graphische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt (secondary school for graphic arts) under Hörwarter and Lenhart from 1895 to 1897, Sika studied for another five years at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts under Ribarz, Moser, Roller and Linke (ceramics class).

She received several awards, for example a bronze medal for participating in the St. Louis Exposition, another one for participating in the Vienna Hunting Exhibition, and the honorary diploma for participating in the Paris Arts and Crafts Exhibition.

From 1920 on, Jutta Sika was a member of the "Vereinigung der bildenden Künstlerinnen" (association of female artists).
