Judenburg 1871 – 1954 Vienna
Studied at the School of Crafts in Znaim (1891-1894) and then at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts (1894-1901). In 1905 he founded, together with Bertold Löffler) the company "Wiener Keramik".
From 1912 till 1936 he was a professor at that school. He made many designs for
"Wiener Keramik" and the "Vereinigte Wiener und Gmundner Keramik" as well as for the Viennese "Porzellanmanufactur Augarten". He also designed reliefs, tiles and building decorations, working together with Josef Hoffmann and the Wiener Werkstätte on the Stoclet Palace, the "Fledermaus" cabaret etc. He created ovens for Sommerhuber, glass etching designs for Lobmeyr and glass objects for Lötz.
